Can recommendations be emailed to you?
Yes. Please have them emailed to: auditions@apsmusic.org

May I upload my files?
You will be sent instructions for uploading sound files after your application and supporting materials have been approved. (See recording specifications)

Are CD’s still acceptable?
No, only uploaded files are acceptable. (See recording specifications)

Should I need one, can you recommend an accompanist?
Yes, we have a list of many fine accompanists. However, bear in mind that it is a busy time of year so we recommend that you contact them as soon as possible to see about their availability.

Who covers the cost of accompanists?
You, the auditionee.

May I bring downloaded scores to the live auditions?
Only if the piece is in the public domain.

May I bring copied scores?
NO. All U.S.copyright laws must be followed. The only exception is for a work that is out of print, for which special permission has been granted.
